Electronic Discovery Seminar at The University of Toledo

Cooper & Walinski, LPA hosted an electronic discovery seminar Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Nitschke Auditorium in the University of Toledo together with the University and the Northwest Ohio Chief Information Officer's Forum.  Approximately 140 attendees were present at this event which was worth 2.5 Continuing Legal Education credits.

Key speakers at this event were Judge James G. Carr of the U.S. District Court in Toledo, Ohio and Gabrielle Finnan from Electronic Discovery Inc., of Kirkland, Washington.  Also speaking was Janet Hales, an attorney with Cooper & Walinski, who gave a presentation on the Federal rules which took effect in December 2006.  Margaret Lockhart, also an attorney with Cooper & Walinski, performed a mock cross-examination to illustrate the types of questions that could be asked in a case involving electronic discovery.
