On June 20, 2009, Cooper & Walinski participated in the United Way Womens Initiative Habitat for Humanity Build.  C&W's task was to build the first floor decking for the house.  The build benefited a single mother of four who needed a handicap-accessible home.

The following attorneys, paralegals, and staff from the firm participated in the build:  Jackie Boney, David Copeland, Carol Wasielewski, Bryan Latta, Tamara Thomas, Jessica Hamner, Margaret Lockhart, Elisabeth Rife, Loretta Taylor, Yvette Green, Brandi Doniere, David Judeika, Nathan Oswald, and Stephanie Morgan.  Six friends of the firm also participated in the build.

Habitat for Humanity helps eliminate sub-standard housing in Lucas County.
