Local Law Firm Provides a Warmer Christmas for Chase Elementary

Christmas was a little warmer for many of the students at Chase elementary school thanks to the generous donations of hats, mittens and scarves from attorneys, staff and friends of the local law firm of Cooper & Walinski, a Partners in Education partner.  Through its partnership with the school, Cooper & Walinski identified the winter clothing needs of the students.  The firm put up a Christmas mitten tree and asked employees and friends of the firm for donations for the children.

The response was overwhelming.  The tree quickly overflowed with hats, mittens and scarves.  The children were the happy recipients of the warm winter wear and they had a great time picking out their hats and gloves.  They loved all the different colors, styles and characters on them.   This holiday gesture warmed the hearts not only of the children who received the clothing but of those who had fun participating.

Chase Elementary School staff and students were extremely thankful for Cooper & Walinski’s kind donations of food items, hats, gloves and cash donations over the holidays for the families of Chase Elementary.  It was because of kind donations from Cooper & Walinski that Chase Elementary School was able to supply many families with food for their Thanksgiving holiday.  They were also able to provide families with food for Christmas.

Chase Elementary School appreciates all of the support that Cooper & Walinski has provided their school and community.  It makes a great difference in the lives of their children and families.  Chase Elementary School thanks Cooper & Walinski for extending our partnership to them.  It is appreciated more than words can say.
