On Tuesday, November 29, 2005, the Toledo Public Schools awarded Cooper & Walinski the 2005 Silver Slate Award.  Cooper & Walinski were recipients of this award due to their efforts and commitment to the children.  Many nominations were received, but Cooper & Walinski’s services and leadership were exemplary.  In appreciation for Cooper & Walinski’s generous contributions, a framed certificate was accepted by Margaret Lockhart and Cecelia Fisher on behalf of Cooper & Walinski during the special awards ceremony.
