Northwest Ohio Breaks Phonathon Record

Toledo campaign chairs Jim Brazeau and Buzz Roberts are to be thanked once again for their dedication to the support of legal services.  The total for the Northwest Ohio Campaign for Equal Justice will not be finalized until late January; however, we currently have raised $85,000 - short of our goal of $125,000, but with contributions still coming in daily.

The phonathon, part of that total, brought in a record $27,000.  The chairs, each of whom is responsible for one day of the four-day phonathon, compete vigorously against each other to bring in the most money on their day.  This year, the contenders were Janis Foley, Buzz Roberts, Cathy Killam, and Bill Bingle. The winner was Janis Foley, whose team raised $9,582 in one day!
