Margaret J. Lockhart

Margaret is a shareholder who practices in the areas of labor and employment law, commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and school law. She is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in employment and labor law. She has tried cases in both state and federal courts and before state and federal administrative agencies. Margaret also handles labor negotiations, arbitrations, policy and handbook reviews, and supervisor training for private and public sector employers. She served for ten years as a Judge pro tem of the Perrysburg Municipal Court.  Margaret lectures frequently on labor and employment law topics.

Margaret is active in the Ohio State Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Governors of the Association's Labor Section and on the Association's Sexual Harassment Task Force.

Before joining the firm, Margaret served as law clerk to the Hon. Robert E. DeMascio, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in 1982 and received her law degree magna cum laude from Rutgers University Law School in 1986. Margaret was the Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Review
