| Rod practices in the field of civil litigation, primarily in the areas of product liability, insurance coverage, and commercial disputes. His insurance coverage practice has primarily involved pursuit of coverage on behalf of policyholders for environmental and mass-tort liabilities. And his product liability practice has focused on the defense of prescription pharmaceutical companies. He carries Martindale-Hubbell's AV rating.
Rod has successfully tried both jury and bench trials as lead counsel. He also has extensive appellate experience. Rod has argued before appellate courts in Ohio, Michigan, California and before the Ohio Supreme Court.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in 1992 and a law degree from Duke University in 1995.
