Rod is a shareholder who practices in the field of civil litigation. He concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, insurance coverage, and commercial disputes. His product liability practice has focused on the defense of prescription pharmaceutical companies. Rod has received the highest Peer Review Rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell.
Rod has successfully tried both jury and bench trials as lead counsel. He also has extensive experience briefing and arguing cases on appeal. Rod has argued before appellate courts in Ohio, Michigan, California and before the Ohio Supreme Court.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in 1992 and a law degree from Duke University in 1995.
