| Clare practices in the areas of employee benefits, qualified pension plans, and review of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. Clare also prepares Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) for federal and state governmental contractors and provides guidance and assistance to in-house AAP managers who are responsible for developing and administering their company’s AAP. She coordinates and prepares responses to AAP desk audits requested by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and/or the Ohio Department of Administrative Services and attends AAP on-site audits when necessary. She also handles ERISA issues as they develop in litigation matters.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Bucknell University in 1983 and received a law degree cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1986.
