Business Litigation
Business Litigation is the bedrock of Cooper & Walinski's practice.  For decades, we have regularly counseled and represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to closely-held businesses, non-profit companies, and individuals.  It was through our Business Litigation practice that the firm first established a reputation for skill and success in handling trials and appeals.

The firm's Business Litigation Practice Group has grown into a team of experienced litigators with broad experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States.  We are problem solvers and experienced trial attorneys who advance our clients' strategic interests vigorously yet cost-efficiently.  All members of the Business Litigation Practice Group are experienced also in mediation and arbitration.  Whether we are asked to counsel, mediate, arbitrate, or litigate, we strive to minimize the cost of litigation by delegating to that partner or associate who can complete the work most competently yet least expensively.

In selecting an effective advocate to handle a business dispute, clients discover -- sooner or later -- that among all qualities that make for an effective advocate, there is no substitute for experience.  Cooper & Walinski's Business Litigation Practice Group has experience.

The Business Litigation Practice Group provides representation in a wide range of disputes, including:

  • Antitrust and trade regulation matters;
  • Business torts;
  • Class action litigation;
  • Collections, foreclosure and replevin;
  • Consumer law;
  • Contract disputes and related claims;
  • HMO, PPO, HIC development and contracting;
  • Indemnity contracts;
