| Employees of Cooper & Walinski participated in the United Way's Day of Caring on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Thirty employees from the firm showed that we care by giving time to two local charities.
The Ronald McDonald House

Formerly a farmhouse, the 14-bedroom Ronald McDonald House serves as a warm, safe, clean, and friendly home environment for families who travel to Toledo for their children's specialized medical care. Volunteers from Cooper & Walinski worked in the garden beds, dusted and wiped down rooms, and cleaned windows.
Cherry Street Mission's Lifebridge Center

The Cherry Street Mission was founded in 1947 and has been serving homeless and low-income families 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with food, shelter, clothing, and other transitional resources. In 2008, Banner Mattress donated its former factory showroom to the MIssion. Employees from Cooper & Walinski volunteered to spend time to remove overgrown vegetation, enhance the landscape, and paint the main showroom.
